Meet Jacob Brewster
Certified General Appraiser & Valuation Expert
Jacob Brewster, founder and principal appraiser at Beacon Valuation & Consulting, has been in the real estate appraisal industry since 2001 and holds Certified General licenses in both Utah and California.
He has appraised everything from standard single-family homes to luxury estates exceeding $30 million, as well as retail, office, industrial, and subdivision properties.
Jacob has been qualified to testify as an expert witness to provide court testimony in Utah, California, and Florida. His analytical approach, attention to detail, and reputation for impartiality have made him a trusted resource for attorneys, CPAs, property owners, brokers and agents, and private clients who demand credible and defensible results.
Meet Jenise Brewster
Co-Owner, Office Manager & Real Estate Professional
Jenise Brewster brings decades of administrative, accounting, and real estate experience to Beacon Valuation & Consulting. Coming from a family deeply rooted in the real estate and appraisal professions, she has been surrounded by the industry her entire life. Her father was an appraiser dating back to the 1990s, her husband Jacob has been licensed since 2002, with multiple other family members in the real estate and/or appraisal professions, making real estate valuation a true family legacy.
For nearly 20 years, Jenise has served as an office manager and bookkeeper in real estate and appraisal firms.
She plays a vital role in client communication, business operations, and maintaining the seamless workflow that supports every appraisal report we deliver.
Meet Courtney Brewster-Budd
Data Researcher, Market Analyst & Report Processor
Continuing the family tradition of excellence, Courtney Brewster-Budd represents the next generation of Beacon Valuation & Consulting. The daughter of Jacob Brewster and granddaughter of veteran appraiser Curtis Page, Courtney quite literally grew up in the appraisal industry. She began assisting with office work and data collection at age 15 and now brings nearly a decade of hands-on experience to the firm.
She also contributes to quality-control review, helping maintain the high professional standards that define Beacon’s reputation.
Outside of work, Courtney balances full-time motherhood with her academic and artistic pursuits. She is a student at Utah Valley University, where she studies on an Opera Voice Scholarship, and is a wife and mother of two young children. Her discipline, attention to detail, and creative background bring both structure and heart to the Beacon team.
Meet Zander Budd
Trainee Appraiser
Zander Budd, Courtney’s husband, is the newest member of the Beacon team and is currently training under Jacob Brewster as a Trainee Appraiser.
This real-world construction expertise adds valuable perspective to his appraisal training, enhancing his ability to analyze property condition and quality.
Zander is currently working toward full appraiser licensure and is dedicated to carrying forward Beacon’s tradition of professionalism, precision, and integrity.
